Forage Looper
I agree with you after looking at BAMONA's photos of the Forage Looper. There is one that looks almost identical to the one submitted by Rich. When I looked in Peterson's p. 256-257, I did notice that the lower brown lines were more curved in the example at the top of the page (it was hard to tell from the size of the sample if there was a space between the upper and lower brown areas), but the forage looper (just below it) looked so much darker that I really ignored it. (not very scientific!)

Look like a Forage Looper to me
since PM band does not touch margin or AM band.

Referring to Petersons Field Guide to Moths of Northeastern N.A. 2012, p.357, photograph of looper moth at top left of page, the markings look similar, from the descending upper brown patches towards interior, brown patches below, the three brown spots above the string of white bands near outer edges of wings, grayish color, etc.
