Amberwing - Perithemis tenera

Amberwing - Perithemis tenera
Orlando, Orange County, Florida, USA
September 24, 2016
Size: body is 22 mm
I have never sen one of these little dragonflies before. I found them quite intriguing. They were fairly approachable, unlike most dragonflies. At rest they would move their wings around independently. In looking at the resources I have, this one looks most like Perithemis tenera, Eastern amberwing. Am I right?? also, is it a female?
