Prodoxus marginatus Riley, 1891
Prodoxus pulverulentus Riley, 1892
WS: 8-12 mm
Prodoxus marginatus and P. pulverulentus appear different with the latter having outer half of wings more densely specked with dark scales and a more southernly distribution. Powell & Mackie (1966?) treated P. pulverulentus as a synonym of P. marginatus based on genitalia and an apparent zone of integration. (1)
Pellmyr et al. (2005) synonymized P. pulverulentus with P. marginatus
