black-and-white moth - Lithostege deserticola

black-and-white moth - Lithostege deserticola
Salero Ranch, E of Tubac, 4300 ft elevation, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
October 29, 2016
Size: wingspan 3-3.5 cm
I think this is a geometrid but I have looked at many BG & MPG pages without success. Maybe something close to Anticlea, Perizoma, or Lithostege? Or maybe not a geometrid. Thanks for ID help.

Geometrid Moth
Your last choice seems to be correct. This looks very close to the male Lithostege deserticola. I'm not sure of the exact range, but MPG has sightings listed in Arizona. If confirmed, a first for our state, congrats!

Thanks for the vote - I looke
Thanks for the vote - I looked at L. deserticola but there are only a couple of images at MPG and no other info. Hopefully someone will recognize it! I'll move it to Geometridae.
