Found this caterpillar in my back yard. There seemed to be a few of them. It seems to use its shed skin as a house.

Moved to Charidotella sexpunctata
Moved from Tortoise Beetles.

ID based on similarities to others in the Guide and the high probability. Charidotella sexpunctata is abundant in my back yard and is the only Cassidini that I have found there.

Thanks for the ID and the compliment. I usually try to figure these out but I had absolutely no idea where to start. Charidotella sexpunctata is common in my back yard. I'll have to try raising one and see what happens.
