Found this caterpillar in my back yard. There seemed to be a few of them. It seems to use its shed skin as a house.

ID based on similarities to others in the Guide and the high probability.
Charidotella sexpunctata
is abundant in my back yard and is the only Cassidini that I have found there.

Thanks for the ID and the compliment. I usually try to figure these out but I had absolutely no idea where to start. Charidotella sexpunctata is common in my back yard. I'll have to try raising one and see what happens.
