Moved
Moved from Hypogastruridae. Congrats, a new species for the guide!

Moved
Moved from Springtails and allies. Moved to family for now. Hopefully you and Frans will be able to get it all the way to species!

Hypogastruridae or Pseudachorutinae
To decide : could you upload a frontal shot in which we could see whether or not the mouthcone is pointed.
If pointed : Pseudachorutinae.
If round: Hypogastruridae.
Also a shot of the anal segment is usefull: if anal spines are present : Hypogastruridae. If absent : Pseudachorutinae.

more shots
Thank you for your help! I have added some additional images, although I am not sure I have captured what you are looking for. Your web page is interesting; if I understand it correctly, this would be a Hypogastruridae. Let me know if I should provide additional shots, there are many individuals still hopping around in my refrigerator.

Hypogastruridae
Thx for the extra shots.
Indeed Hypogastruridae.
Now I would like to know the genus. First we will check for Ceratophysella.
1. Are anal spines present? A lateral shot of the anal segment will do. 2. Number of ocelli in the eyepatch? 8? Or less?

shots
Anal spines present. It looks like 9 ocelli to me.

Hypogastrura manubrialis
is the best match.
Note 8 ocelli (a group of 5 anterior ocelli + a group of 3 posterior ocelli).
As a kind of confirmatory check: look for the post antennal organ. It is located just in front of the most anterior ocellus. It is about 2 times the size of the nearest ocellus and has 4 lobes.

Tnx
Thanks for all your help!
