Grasshopper in Anza Borrego desert - Cibolacris parviceps

Grasshopper in Anza Borrego desert - Cibolacris parviceps
Anza Borrego desert in San Diego County, California, USA
November 19, 2015
Size: about 1/2"
This grasshopper blended in perfectly with the sand of the canyon where we found it. That's a 9 year old kid holding it, so it's fairly small.

ID
Pretty sure this is a cream grasshopper (Cibolacris parviceps) nymph

Agree
Looks like it. Thanks for the id.

Oedipodinae?
Could this be a band wing nymph?

band wing nymph
Thanks, but I think it's probably a Least Desert Grasshopper, Xeracris minimus. That looks like a pretty good match.
