Large Chompper on White Birch Tree - Antheraea polyphemus

Large Chompper on White Birch Tree - Antheraea polyphemus
Elk Grove, Cook County, Illinois, USA
July 28, 2007
Size: 3.5 in by 1 in tall

Later, it was easier to relocate by looking for the half eaten leaf it was chomping on.
