Exceptionally well focused in-flight shot
Do you have stats on shutter speed, exposure, and ISO?

shooting details
Yes, here. Any critters I shot with the 28-105mm lens also had a +4 closeup filter (which doesn't get stored in the exif data), everything else is as recorded.

Thanks, Scott
You're nice and steady with a good eye. And I'm envious! I probably need to buy a decent close-up filter, after experimenting with junk. (Can't use already owned extension tubes with my new lens. Drat!)

I'm amazed that you almost stopped the wings at 1/250.

Looks like Common Baskettail
Epitheca cynosura, but maybe Spiny?

baskettail
This one has a small amount of black on the hindwing, which I don't see on any shots of a spiny, but is that enough to rule it out?

baskettail
I don't know if there is enough black to call it a baskettail.
