Hmmm, well that does change things. I'll guess again (while I'm at it) that this might be a fly larva .

 
Not a maggot
I thought of a fly larva too. But those long thin legs don't belong to a fly larva. They should help with ID.

Looks like it might be a cate
Looks like it might be a caterpillar mummified by an Aleiodes species wasp.
