Mesh Web Weaver - Dictyna calcarata - male

Mesh Web Weaver - Dictyna calcarata - Male
Amarillo, Randall County, Texas, USA
December 1, 2016
This is specimen that was collected by a friend of mine in currently in arachnology. She identified it to genus with SONA and I verified it. Out of curiosity, I then identified it to species with Chamberlin & Gertsch 1958.

According to Dean's Catalogue of Texas Spiders, Randall is not listed in the distribution for the species. This here is a new county record and that's what I call neat.
