I feel sure your Genus is correct. Just up your alley. I am always interested in you posts, so I went through the BOLD specimens. Wish I had started at the top and not the bottom. I would think C. fletcherella, betulivora, or bethunella complex would be possibilities for species.

Thanks for looking
I tried Braun's (1908) key, and C. betulivora was where I landed, but I wasn't convinced when I checked the illustration. Now that I look at BOLD, it does seem reasonable, and I have found Cameraria mines on yellow birch in my yard but have been unable to rear them out. The other two are oak feeders, which would also be perfectly plausible. In Braun's key, fletcherella has the first dorsal streak long, oblique, and curved, and it is perpendicular in the other two species. The markings are dull white and faintly margined on betulivora, and shining white, strongly margined on bethunella.

Interesting as always!
