coll. S. Gardescu: "sitting frozen on the fresh snow". Quite alert and active. Determined using Rehn and Hebard 1916. Specimens from "Ithaca, NY" are noted in that paper, and there are specimens from Ithaca in the CUIC.

A very late date for this species to be out!
