Ripiphorid - Ptilophorus wrightii - Male
Resaca De La Palma State Park, Cameron County, Texas, USA
November 30, 2016
Saw several of these during my visits to the park. Some were on grass stems, some were on tree branch tips, one was on a shrub 'branch' tip, and one was being feasted upon by a robber fly.
