Size: 1.75 mm
This ant was caught in a yellow bowl trap left overnight in a sandy scrub. The first photograph was taken of the ant in alcohol. The next two were taken after the specimen was allowed to dry. Note, the abdomen in the dried specimen shrank in size and the striped color disappeared.
