Attracted to a blacklight in a well-wooded (juniper-oak-elm) suburban backyard near a permanent Hill Country creek. Identified by Brandon Woo on iNaturalist.org. See discussion on original upload
here. Identified by the combination of:
-- shortened forewings
-- antennal placement low on head
-- 2nd tarsal segments short and cylindrical
-- hind tarsi with few (3) pairs of spines
-- ovipositor slim and straight.
