Embolemus? - Embolemus nearcticus

Embolemus? - Embolemus nearcticus
Mattaponi WMA, Caroline County, Virginia, USA
September 17, 2016
Size: 4.5mm
Collected in a drift-fence pitfall installed in moist floodplain woods beside the muddy Mattaponi river. Collect dates: 18aug-17sep. The preservative was plumbing antifreeze, which is nontoxic but has a sickeningly sweet fruity scent that attracted lots of tiny flies and bark beetles; maybe it drew in this wasp too.
Is this Embolemus?
