Ponometia libedis

Ponometia libedis
Sanderson, Terrell County, Texas, USA
September 22, 2016
Not 100% sure if this is P. libedis or nannodes. Possible first county record either way.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Bird Dropping Moth
The fringe is mostly dark and the sub-terminal area is grey with a tan banding on the inside. This looks more like Ponometia libedis to me, but please wait for an expert. (south-western range)
Ponometia nannodes has larger light patches on the fringe and is more brown with dark speckling in the sub-terminal area.

Concur with P. libedis
I have images of P. libedis from both east (Junction) and west (Big Bend) of Sanderson.
