Abstract

Four new species of Pachybrachis Chevrolat, 1836 in the eastern USA are described: Pachybrachis cubs Barney, new species; Pachybrachis ekstromorum Barney, new species; Pachybrachis troosevelti Barney, new species; and Pachybrachis zellersorum Barney, new species. Pachybrachis zellersorum belongs to the Pachybrachis viduatus species-group, and the other three new species belong to the Pachybrachis atomarius species-group. A description, figure, and range map are presented for each new species. Couplets in published keys are modified to accommodate the new species.
