Aedes/Ochlerotatus
It's an Aedes/Ochlerotatus based on abdominal shape. Abdominal bands appear to indicate Ae. vexans but I can't be positive.

Maybe something close to this, but I'm not sure.
Genus = Culex: Your's might be in a related genus.

Is Culiseta inornata a possibility? suggested by Val Bugh locally as a 'maybe'. It was a large mosquito.
