Looks like an Ichneumon Wasp but no, a fly. Perhaps a Robber Fly?

Odd
Looks overall like Tipulogaster but the wing veins look wrong. Not sure. Need a facial shot and a close proximal abdomen. If you have the specimen, shoot a single wing.

 
Tipulogaster
Sorry, didn't keep the specimen. All my shots showed the same overlap of the wings. However all one can see of the wing venation of the top wing is identical to one on BugGuide (July 1, 2005, Oklahoma). Also the look of the thorax looks the same as other photos. Note other image. I presume T. glabrata is the only species in this genus in our area?

 
What else could it be?
