McCarthy Lake Wildlife Management Area, Wabasha County, Minnesota, USA

Size: 2 mm
July 17, 2015: collected Anemone with fly pupae
September 11, 2015: seed head all fungal, took apart to find live larva and 2 pupae, put back into vial without extra TP moisture
March 28, 2016: a live fly, a dead fly, 2 spent pupae
This is excellent. Now there is a specimen for U of MN Insect Collection as the original reared adult from Weaver Dunes Complex was sent to Canada for an ID.
