Beetle with a shell? - Dahlica triquetrella

Beetle with a shell? - Dahlica triquetrella
Loch Raven Reservoir, Baltimore County, Maryland, USA
December 28, 2016
Size: 5mm
This appeared to be a very small beetle carrying a sand shell? It moved as it was carrying the back portion which seemed to be made from grains of sand. Legs only in front.
