Size: wingspan = 32 mm
Specimen was collected at Pueblo Park campground in the Apache National Forest at 6200' elevation in a Ponderosa pine forest. The specimen lacks a proboscis, but has a frenulum and retinaculum.

Thanks!! The appearance fits very well. I was fooled by the absence of a proboscis, but the Panthea paper by Gary Anweiler in Zookeys states that this species has rudimentary mouth parts.

Panthea (male)
The small size, coupled with the lack of any clear contrasting lines make this likely to be Panthea apanthea.
