She's about to pop! - Centruroides gracilis - Female

This appeared to be a very pregnant female. Despite her susceptible state, she was extremely cooperative and was very willing to be freely (and gently) handled by my perhaps a bit foolish friend. The green background is his tshirt, and she was nearly vertical when I took the photograph. They really are good climbers!
