Email comment from JF Landry: "It is not possible to distinguish albicapitella from caesiella by photo nor external apparance. Although some specimens may have a different or seemingly distinct appearance, there is individual variation that muddles the picture and slight amounts of wear on specimens may blur whatever weak distinction there could be. Genitalia must be checked for positive id. The same is true for most species in Swammerdamia and Paraswammerdamia which are confusingly similar superficially. The two genera cannot be distinguished externally from each other either." 1/4/2017 - Steve Nanz
