Phidippus? - Phidippus audax

Phidippus? - Phidippus audax
River Warren Outcrops Scientific and Natural Area, Renville County, Minnesota, USA
July 4, 2016
At first I thought this was Phidippus audax, but now I have serious doubt. I now suspect it may be the male of the gray specimen present (possibly Phidippus regius) on the same plant.

There was another similar looking (maybe different) spider present in area which was not submitted.

Moved from Jumping Spiders.

This is...
a Phidippus audax. P. regius has a limited southern distribution and the two marks posterior to the largest white spot on the abdomen are more round than "slit-like". P. audax is common in Minnesota.
