moth - Apantesis incorrupta
Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Eddy County, New Mexico, USA
September 29, 2016
This tiger moth was in the Chihuahua desert.

Tentative
Moved from Grammia.

Sorry for the double moves. Did not look to see that Evan had moved it.

Moved
Moved from Grammia incorrupta.

Moved to Grammia incorrupta
Moved from Erebidae.

Because this species and those closely related are so variable, the ID should be considered tentative.

Grammia. I suspect which I see all the time. They are extremely variable.

Looks right.
Anyone want to confirm before it's moved there?

..
Matthew,

I am not an expert and do not move to species in Grammia - a very difficult and variable Genus. If you move, move to Grammia unless my opinion is confirmed.
