jumping bristletail? - Trigoniophthalmus alternatus

jumping bristletail? - Trigoniophthalmus alternatus
Auburn, Cayuga County, New York, USA
January 15, 2017
Size: I cm
Might this be a jumping bristletail? Anyone know anything about this one? From what I understand, if I am right about the ID, is that these creatures were among the very first legged beings ever to set foot upon dry earth, over 400 million years ago.
Like a half of a billion years. And they are virtually unchanged to this day. We humans are just a tiny blip in the whole of geological time. And then to realize what we infant aliens are doing to this magical planet. Sad, no? Could I get some help with thus one? This one is so very special.
