Stinkbug? - Eleodes hispilabris

Stinkbug? - Eleodes hispilabris
Twin Falls, Twin Falls County, Idaho, USA
Size: about 1 1/2 inches long
I thought this was a stink-bug(smells horrific)...but it doesn't look like any other of the shield bugs and I can't find a beetle that looks exactly like it. We're in a very dry, desert climate here.

Moved, E.hispilabris...

Moved
Moved from Darkling Beetles.

Eleodes
striations plus that posture and the locale puts this in Eleodes.

Darkling Beetle
This is a Darkling Beetle in the family Tenebrionidae. It might be Eleodes genus, but you can't tell from this photo. They do smell awful
