Agromyzidae on Anemone - Phytomyza anemonivora

Agromyzidae on Anemone - Phytomyza anemonivora
Perrot State Park, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin, USA
July 10, 2016
Is it safe to ID this based on the discolorations in the plant?
I used to open them, pulling apart the fruits/seeds to confirm fly larvae or fly pupae but then always thought I should try to rear them once I'd done the damage. I did not disturb this one.
