Dr. Jason Botz said the following: "This is a close-up ventral view of the abdomen of this male specimen. On the fifth ventrite, there is a small patch of short, stout, black setae that are all projecting forward. This is a diagnostic character separating males of T. arizonaensis from T. palmeri Jenkins.”
