Hello, my name is Lou Coticchio and I am a spider biologist/researcher out of USF in St. Petersburg. I am currently starting my graduate research, which is to verify if there are currently any breeding populations of recluse spiders in the state of Florida, their location, and their possible distribution. I don't know if these can be narrowed down further with confidence without a clear view of the genitalia.

This is a really interesting find. It's probably L. rufescens (Mediterranean Recluse). L. reclusa (Brown Recluse) has been spotted in some northern counties of Florida before, however, to the best of my knowledge, it's still not established in the state. It would be great to get an expert's opinion on this find.
