Nick - my last attempt to confirm a male Great Pondhawk failed the cerci test. How about this one? Please advise, as I am trying to put both male and female photos of each find in my photo album.

Rod Camper

Looks good to me: complete bands, long and thin abdomen.

Great Pondhawk
Cliff, thanks for your input. Do you likewise confirm that the specimin in the photo is a male?

Rod Camper

Yes indeed
A male.

Confirmed Male Great Pondhawk
Thanks again Cliff. Given the minor differences between the sexes, I thought the cerci on the current submittal fit the requirements. Now I can post my photo album accordingly.
