Too far from the ocean to be a lobster

Too far from the ocean to be a lobster
Honolulu, Hawaii, USA
November 9, 2016
Size: ~1 1/2 inches, 3.7 cm
Encountered on the open fourth floor of a building in Manoa Valley, just after dark in early winter. May have been attracted to the lights. Sat still for two photo shoots before quickly running off. Maybe it's an instar? I'm completely stumped.
