Hystrichophora stygiana? - Hystrichophora

Hystrichophora stygiana? - Hystrichophora
Anthony Lakes, Baker County, Oregon, USA
August 13, 2016
Size: FW length about 14mm
This relatively large tortricid was attracted to lights in a high-elevation (7,140 feet) cirque basin in the Elkhorn Range of the Blue Mountains. As you can see in the second photo, the HWs were dark brown with a pale-colored fringe. This was the only specimen we saw during our moth surveys in 2016.
