Noctuidae - Sunira bicolorago

Noctuidae - Sunira bicolorago
Plymouth Rock, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
May 25, 2015

Moved

Very pale
but we get the feeling of Sunira

I want to ask:
how'd you find that?
But yes, good match I think.

You can see that there are quite a few
caterpillar images on the species page, so it is just one of the dorsal color patterns that we have come to know. It is nice when there is something relatively unique to home in on.
