Wingspan: ~25 mm (1).
Identification
Superficially very similar to L. anguina. The hindwing of anguina not as light as in incurva. The median area of fore wing of anguina is usually contrastingly darker than the rest of wing, whereas this area of incurva is nearly concolorous with rest of the wing (Selman, 1975).
Range
Selman (1975) included records from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Colorado. (2)
Remarks
There has been a considerable amount of confusion concerning the identity of this species and its type locality. See Selman (1975) for a full explanation. (2)
See Also
Lacinipolia anguina typically has a darker more contrasting median area and is generally found north and east of the range of incurva. (2)
