haven´t seen this one before
I´m afraid not. This is new in the guide. Hope we can figure it out. Maybe with the BCA or the harvard collections. Looks like a Chrysomelinae, maybe something near Leptinotarsa

can´t find anything yet
I`ve searched a bit, but without any results. Checked about 20 Leptinotarsa species from further south. Nothing red among them. Anybody can exclude Cadiz hardei. That´s about the only strange Chrysomeline name that popped up.

In fact, I'd bet this IS a Leptinotarsa. There is another species down here that is metallic blue.
