Specific epithet for the host plan genus (Cordia).
Identification
Distinguishing feature: Second joint of the labial palpi with strong tuft, concealing terminal joint; white at base, light brown at apex, with a small black spot on outer side. Evident in posted specimen. (Ann Hendrickson)
Range
Southwest Texas and Southern Florida, south into the Caribbean.
