Eupithecia misturata? - Eupithecia

Eupithecia misturata? - Eupithecia
La Grande, Union County, Oregon, USA
June 5, 2016
This tentative identification was made solely on the basis of comparisons to similar-looking images of Eupithecia misturata in BugGuide. It would be most helpful if someone could ellucidate the main characteristics of this species, which we suspect may be quite common in eastern Oregon.

Moved from ID Request.

E. miserulata is one of several similar possibilities. I asked Libby Avis who is from BC to look at your specimen and she could not make a species ID. The ones I call miserulata for sure in Texas have much brighter white markings.
