Craggy Rocks, Winneshiek County, Iowa, USA
April 28, 2016
Size: gall about 35 mm
April 23, 2016: collected several Goldenrod, Solidago sp, elliptical stem galls. On these two the emergent hole was open.
April 25, 2016: ants in the confined container
April 28, 2016: cut open the left gall (on photo) to non-viable moth pupa and ants
