~8mm long, very slim, dorsum darker than that in Aristotelia corallina or Putella xylostella.

I disagree with your statement that your the dorsum is darker than that A. corallina. I find it to be variable specimen to specimen. See this specimen from BOLD here. There were also many spread specimens where the dorsum did not appear to me to be completely white. I think it is A. corallina. Putella xylostella has a more slender profile and usually carries its antenna forward in typical Putella style.

A few points
I don't have too much to add here, as I have little experience in identifying species of Aristotelia, but I'm inclined to agree with Ann. This certainly looks like the genus to me, at least. Another point about Plutella xylostella, which does look superficially similar to this specimen, is that the palpi of that species are very different than in this specimen. The scales on the head and the shape and size of the labial palpi tend to be good clues to superfamily, and in this case, they clearly indicate that this specimen belongs in Gelechioidea.
