syrphid fly - Platycheirus quadratus - Male
Pine Run Reservoir, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
June 14, 2016
Found on cicuta maculata in a meadow.
This appears to be a male Platycheirus with enlarged mid-tibia, which should indicate P. quadratus.
