Neuroptera. - Megalomus
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
July 1, 2016
Size: BL ~8 mm
Seen in the CO foothills at about 6400' elevation. Swept from a bush by a friend. Possibly a Brown lacewing? Most lacewings in BugGuide have definite necks, but this image shows head tucked under. Any help with this mystery insect is much appreciated.
