Mosaic Darner (dragonfly) - Aeshna constricta

This had been identified as Aeshna constricta, (Lance-tipped Darner) and to me it looks like it could be Aeshna tuberculifera (Black-tipped Darner).
Any comments on the differentiation between these species would be appreciated.

A. constricta
the cerci on A. tuberculifera have a different shape and the spots on abdominal segment 9 (S9) are much smaller. The only picture I have of a female A. constricta has very tiny spots on S10 so their absence on yours doesn't surprise me.

A picture of the side of the thorax is best for identifying darners.
