Young female? - Diapheromera femorata

Young female? - Diapheromera femorata
Harms Woods Forest Preserve, Glenview, Cook County, Illinois, USA
August 3, 2007
Found this walkingstick hanging head down on the trunk of a tree. Found a much bigger one the next day so we're thinking this one is younger. Can anyone ID this to species? We'll post the bigger female and the male later.
