Braconid vs. Ichneumonid
Looks like I need to work on separating these two similar groups, but my photos don't really show wing characteristics. Thanks for not just pointing me in the right direction, but leading me right to the answer!

In your area, the most likely hosts for this wasp would be the Forest Tent caterpillar (Malacosoma disstria), and the Western Carpet caterpillar (Melanolophia imitata), if this is helpful.
