unknown moth - Cyclica frondaria

unknown moth - Cyclica frondaria
Salero Ranch, E of Tubac, 4300 ft elev, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
February 28, 2017
Size: forewing about 2 cm
I can't figure out what family this moth belongs to. Noctuid? Geometrid? The wing shape and size remind me of Ceratonyx spp (Geometridae) but the pattern doesn't seem to be a match for the species I looked at. The body is very short relative to the wings, which I thought would help narrow down the search, but it didn't help me. The small tuft behind the head, shown on the 3rd image, also seems distinctive. Thanks for any help!
